Taína graduated with a Masters’ degree in Social Work in 2004 and obtained her License in Clinical Social Work in 2008. She has experience as a school social worker, special education director, and assistant principal. She has trained with and volunteers for immigration organizations. Her clinical focus is on the areas of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder for people dealing with fertility challenges, perinatal/birthing person trauma, intergenerational trauma, and medical trauma.

Taína is an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist and Approved Consultant and Perinatal Mental Health-Clinician.
